From famed porn director to soulful musical philosopher, Society 1's frontman Matt Zane is full of contradictions. His second album, Words as Carriers, is largely spoken art, touching on such dark themes as loss of innocence and the futility of existence.
Understandably, sexual awakening and desires are a large part of this album, but some moments are stunningly perceptive of the viewpoints of both genders. Songs like "Searching the Sound" showcase Zane's vocal talent contrasted against a backdrop of tribal-influenced percussion.
Unfortunately, this CD suffers from a lack of continuity between tracks. From lust to hedonism to rage, the listener is buffeted with so many unconnected ideas that it's difficult to find a constant thread. While Matt Zane will never be Henry Rollins, Words as Carriers is a worthwhile look at this generation's animalistic cravings.

Matt zane,
I just wanted to drop you a line, let you know that I just dropped about 30 copies of various movie titles with your label in the trash.
they had one of your so called stars,a "softee"goes by the name of drop tommy,if you have not done so yet you might consider it!
I started watching the movies myself after some customers complaints about a "putz" playing porn star, and I must say after watching them myself I just wanted to know how much was he paying the girls to keep from laughing during sex ,he might be hung who knows ,he has to keep it sqeezed with his right hand the whole time just to keep enough blood in it in order to pretend he has something resembling a hard on,I mean shit i'm not quite as long but the thing will stay up till i'm done with it ,damn it man who knew, you don't have to look good or have a dick that works right to be in porn...............
I know you can produce better movies than that shit!!
Goerge
P.S.hey how about a try out in a movie hell I know I'm more photogenic
