Matthew Johnson is the Editor-in-Chief for Vol. 66, currently a student at the University of Calgary studying Political Science and Communications & Media Studies.
Managing Editor
Hannah Caparino is the Managing Editor for Vol. 66. Majoring in English at the University of Calgary and pursuing a minor in Communications & Media Studies, she figured that the best way to use both degrees was through pursuing a journalism career.
News Editor
Elaine Liang is the News Editor for Vol. 66. She previously served as the Beat Reporter and the SLC News Assistant. Powered by an unhealthy amount of coffee, she's currently working on her thesis in the Honours Neuroscience program.
Features Editor
Cassidy Bronson is the Features Editor for Vol. 66. Cassidy graduated from the SAIT Print and Online Journalism with a diploma in 2023 and then completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies in 2026.
Opinions Editor
Kiera Fitzpatrick-Moran is the Opinions Editor for Volume 66 of The Gauntlet. She is a third-year political science student at the University of Calgary, previously hailing from Canada’s East Coast. Her creative work can be found in Ambré Magazine.
Sports Editor
Leigh Patrick is the Sports Editor for Vol. 66. Currently in their third year of an Honours English degree with an Italian minor at the University of Calgary, Leigh covers campus athletics, local sports features, and sideline reporting.
Arts and Research Editor
Laura Beldor is the Arts and Research Editor for Vol. 66. She is a Biological Science student, throughout her time as an undergraduate, has consistently reported on entertainment, culture and advances being made in various academic fields.
City Beat Editor
Alex Howey is the City Beat Editor for Vol. 66. He is a Political Science major, with a passion for going down deep rabbit holes. He will be covering what’s going on in the city you call home, including what’s happening at City Hall.
Layout and Graphics Editor
Zahra Khaniki is the Layout and Graphics Editor for Vol. 66. She has a background in diverse areas of design. Since joining the Gauntlet, she has been involved in developing its print layouts and visually shaping its content.
Visuals Editor
Jasmine Keller is the Visuals Editor for Vol. 66, she is currently a student in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape. She enjoys everything creative and design related.
Digital Editor
Viancy Salubre is the Digital Editor for Vol. 66, and a recent graduate of the Print & Online Journalism program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Her editorial work can be seen in TheScene, Avenue and Create Calgary.
Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator
Garima Chahal is the Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator for Vol. 66. She is a final-year Political Science and International Relations student at the University of Calgary. She was a former volunteer and is a two-time Yacowar Award recipient.
