Foothills stomp Whitecaps at Shouldice park

Calgary’s new semi-pro soccer outfit, the Calgary Foothills U23s, managed a 2–1 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps U23s in a marquee exhibition match on Sunday at Shouldice park. Natneil Tecle and Johnny Wheeldon scored for Calgary. Current Dinos players Dominic Zator, Dominic Russo, James Gourlay and Kieran Hay were a part of the Calgary squad. 1,225 fans were in attendance.
