Photo Recap: Folk Fest Saturday

By Miranda Krogstad and Melanie Woods, July 24 2016 —

Though a few sparse drops of rain fell late in the afternoon, it was a sunny Saturday at Prince’s Island Park for the third day of the 2016 Calgary Folk Music Festival. We hit up some of the day’s most exciting collaborative workshops.

Also sharing the stage at the Mullets, Beards, Barrettes jam was Calgary’s own Michael Bernard Fitzgerald.  If you haven’t had the chance to experience his heartfelt and hopeful tunes, make sure to catch him at the Defining Moments workshop Sunday at 4:20 p.m. on Stage 2.
