All those who wish to cast their vote in advance for the upcoming federal election will be able to do so at open polling stations at the University of Calgary until Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 10:30 p.m.
Voting for the Canadian federal election will take place on Monday, Oct. 21st — however, those who want to vote in advance can do so today from 10 a.m. till 10:30 p.m. at the U of C.
Polling stations are set up in Hotel Alma on the U of C’s main campus in rooms 1H 108, 108Z and 110. Hotel Alma is located at 169 University Gate NW Calgary, T2N 1N4.
All voters are eligible to vote in these polling stations on campus, regardless of whether or not they attend the U of C. Voters must bring government-issued identification (driver’s licence or any other card issued by the Canadian government with their photo, name and current address) to vote.
Upon reaching the polling stations, voters will then vote for a candidate in the riding in which their place of ordinary residence is located.
